Compositing Artist - LEAD

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Within the Stim Studio team, you will work in direct collaboration with the technical teams and under the responsibility of the director. You will be responsible for compositing on the feature “Girl in the Clouds” following its artistic direction.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5 years work experience in Animation and/or VFX industry.

- Must be fluent in french.
- Proficient in Nuke, with the ability to creatively apply 3D solutions within the software.
-Strong experience with AOVs channels and other essential components in digital production.

- Self-motivated and independent, with the capability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense.

- Ability to take direction effectively and translate briefs into polished final composites.

- Experience in meeting quality and style expectations in line with project requirements.

Plus:

- Proficient in English, with strong communication skills.

- Experience with Fusion.

- Lighting knowledge and experience, with a solid understanding of how to integrate lighting passes.

- Python programming experience for automating and optimizing workflows.

- Proven ability to design and troubleshoot complex tools and workflows.

- Hands-on experience with LookDev and setting up templates.

- Excellent color space knowledge, with experience in color pipelines like ACES/OCIO.

- A collaborative mindset, capable of guiding and mentoring Lighters and fellow Compositors.
